This scholarship assists students from nine Bay Area counties in Northern California with their educational pursuits at Fisk University. The scholarship is awarded based on academic performance, extracurricular activities, and community involvement.

Who is eligible
- Must be a permanent resident of one of the nine specified California Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma
- Must be enrolled at Fisk University as a full-time undergraduate student
- Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8
- Must exhibit exemplary characteristics in academic achievement, community involvement, and/or work experience
What you'll need
- Preference given to incoming freshmen, first-generation students, and immediate family of Fisk University alumni from the Bay Area who demonstrate financial need.
- Recipient must acknowledge receipt of the scholarship by email, letter, or by attending a Bay Area Fisk Club meeting or event.
