Brave of Heart Scholarship
This scholarship honors frontline healthcare workers, volunteers, and support staff who lost their lives to COVID-19 by providing financial aid to their children, spouses, or domestic partners. It is a non-competitive program where all eligible applicants receive funding.

Who is eligible
- Must have lost a parent, spouse, or domestic partner who was employed or volunteering as a frontline healthcare worker to COVID-related causes
- Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
- Must plan to enroll full-time or part-time in undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school
- If currently in school, must have a GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (non-traditional students or students returning to college after time off are eligible even without a recent GPA)
- Applicants who lost a parent must be age 26 or under at the time of the application deadline (no age restriction for spouses or domestic partners)
