Who is eligible
- Must be an undergraduate member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. in the Central Region
- Must show proof of matriculation at a 4-year accredited college or university
- Must NOT be a graduating senior
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
What you'll need
- Essay (2 pages maximum, double-spaced): "which includes a brief biographical sketch. In the essay, the applicant must state the importance of Operation Big Book Bag to her community and demonstrate how she can assist or has supporting documentation of participation in community service..."
- Supporting documentation of participation in community service that supports the mission of Operation Big Book Bag
- Official copy of college transcript showing GPA
- Two letters of recommendation: one from the sponsoring Alumnae Chapter Advisor and one from a member of the applicant's community
