Who is eligible
- African-American female
- At least 30 years old
- Single mother or returning student who does not have financial support from a spouse or other family
- Demonstrate a strong desire to complete a college education
What you'll need
- Provide a letter of acceptance from an accredited college or university
- Write a 300-to-500-word essay
- Provide transcripts that demonstrate re-acceptance into a college program
- Include a color photo
- Provide two letters of recommendation
- Provide proof of social activities and commitments
