HBCU Grants for Career-Focused Study Abroad
IFSA provides grants of up to $5,000 for students at select public and private HBCUs to study abroad in London, Prague, or Barcelona. These grants are designed to support students enrolling in career-focused study abroad accelerator programs.

Who is eligible
- Must be enrolled at a participating public HBCU (Alcorn State University, Elizabeth City State University, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, North Carolina Central University, Prairie View A&M University, Southern University at New Orleans) or private HBCU (Howard University, Morehouse College, Spelman College, Tuskegee University, Xavier University of Louisiana)
- For the $5,000 grant (public HBCUs): Tuition must be under $15,000 per academic year
- For the $3,500 grant (private HBCUs): Must be in good academic standing
- Must enroll in an eligible IFSA Career Accelerator program (Biosciences, Health Sciences, Tech, or Business Career Accelerator)
