Who is eligible
- Must be a full-time undergraduate student
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the USA or Canada, residing in IEEE Regions 1 through 7
- Must have a current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in an IEEE designated field of interest at a U.S. ABET or Canadian CEAB-accredited university/college
- Must have completed or plan to complete 3 courses (9 credits) related to power and energy
- Must be considering a career in the electric power and energy industry
What you'll need
- Academic performance transcripts (cumulative GPA)
- Endorsement letter
- For renewal, must become an IEEE PES Student Member and complete a power and energy engineering career experience each year
