This scholarship provides financial assistance to students at member HBCUs who participate in study abroad opportunities. It includes a tuition program credit and an airfare reimbursement.

Who is eligible
- Must be currently attending an HBCU that is a Member or Associate member of the IES Abroad consortium
- The home HBCU must transfer at least 75% of home school financial aid to IES Abroad
- Must apply to and attend an eligible IES Abroad fall, spring, academic year, or calendar year program
What you'll need
- Submit a 1-page reflection statement at the conclusion of the study abroad experience

- Submit the scholarship application through IES Abroad
- Present a valid overseas airline itinerary to secure the $500 travel reimbursement portion
