Komatsu You Scholarship
The Komatsu You Scholarship is funded by Komatsu Longview Operations to attract, recruit, and retain a qualified technical workforce. The scholarship covers tuition, fees, books, and required PPE for approved technical programs at selected educational partners.

Who is eligible
- Must hold a high school diploma, equivalent, or GED certificate
- Must enroll in an approved technical program at Texas State Technical College or Kilgore College
- Minimum age of 17
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and not require current or future sponsorship

- Resume detailing education, previous employment, military service, and activities/volunteer work
- Official high school or college transcript
- Essay: 'Academic Plans and Career Goals'
- Interview with the KomatsuYou Committee
- To maintain funding, a minimum GPA of 2.50 on a 4.00 scale is required for subsequent semesters
