The DC HBCU Alumni Alliance partners with McDonald’s to offer scholarships to students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The award aims to support education, community service, and the advancement of Black excellence.

Who is eligible
- Attend or plan to attend one of the following HBCUs in Fall 2026: University of the District of Columbia, Howard University, Bowie State University, Coppin State University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, or Morgan State University; or be a permanent resident of the DC metro, greater Baltimore, or VA/MD Eastern Shore areas and attend any HBCU
- Be an entering freshman or a returning undergraduate student
- Show exemplary leadership in school and/or your community
