Who is eligible

  • U.S. citizen (born or naturalized), national, or lawful permanent resident
  • Accepted or enrolled student in a nursing degree program at a United States accredited school of nursing
  • Begin classes no later than September 30
  • Do not have any federal judgment liens
  • Do not have an existing service commitment
  • Aren't overdue on a federal debt

  • Service Commitment: Agree to work at an eligible Critical Shortage Facility (CSF) in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) upon graduation
