Each year, Playfish Media offers scholarships to students enrolled in media-focused programs, with priority given to students from traditionally underrepresented communities, including women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and others who may need financial support to pursue their creative and career goals.

Who is eligible
- Must be a full-time student at an accredited university, community college, or a high school student planning to attend university in the United States for the 2026-2027 school year
- Must be pursuing (or planning to pursue) an undergraduate, graduate, or certificate program in a video production-related field
- Priority given to students from traditionally underrepresented communities, including women, people of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals
What you'll need
- Proof of enrollment (Acceptable digital copies include: unofficial transcript, letter from Admissions confirming deposit on school letterhead, official enrollment verification form, or acceptance letter on school letterhead)
- Essay #1 (100-250 words): "Please write 100-250 words on why you are pursuing a degree or certificate in video/media/film production."
- Essay #2 (100-250 words): "Please write 100-250 words about the unique perspective or voice you will bring to the industry."
- Essay #3 (200-400 words): "Please write 200-400 words on what you plan on doing after graduation/completion and why? What is your dream career? How do you plan to use your skills and talents in media/film/video production to make a positive impact in the world or your community?"

- Provide demographic information, GPA, and student status.
- Write and input responses to the three required essay prompts.
- Upload required eligibility documents (max file size 50 MB).
