Who is eligible
- Must be a South Carolinian (or a dependent of an IMB or NAMB missionary or endorsed chaplain listing SC as their home state)
- Must be an active member of a cooperating South Carolina Baptist Convention church or a Baptist Educational and Missionary Convention of South Carolina (BEMCSC) church
- Must personally affirm and agree to teach in accordance with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
- Must be enrolled in an accredited South Carolina college or university (preference given to SC Baptist Universities, exceptions available for SC public universities preparing for missionary or ministry service)
- Must express a call to a church-related vocation and prepare for a vocational ministry role
- Must have financial need
- Must maintain a 'C' average or above
