Who is eligible
- Must be an active member of St John Baptist Church for a minimum of one year
- Must be a 2026 High School Graduate or a continuing undergraduate college student
- Must be planning to attend or currently attending an acceptable higher education institution, which includes two- or four-year colleges/universities, trade schools, and technical colleges
What you'll need
- Typed Essay (1000-1500 words, 12pt font, double-spaced) answering one of the following prompts: 1) 'Share a significant challenge you've faced and how your faith has provided you with strength and resilience to overcome it.', 2) 'Explain how your faith motivates you to pursue your educational goals and how you plan to use your education to serve others and further your faith community.', or 3) 'In what ways do you believe technology can be utilized to create deeper connections and spiritual growth within your church community?'
- Acceptance letter (for 2026 High School Graduates)
- Official or unofficial transcript and verification of enrollment for Fall 2026 (for returning college students)
- High-quality photo of yourself
