Who is eligible
- Must be a legal dependent of a current Abbott employee with at least one year of continuous service, or an eligible former employee/retiree
- Unmarried
- Age 17–24 as of the application deadline date
- Not employed by Abbott
- Student must be pursuing their first university degree or equivalent (undergraduate study only) at an accredited college, university, community college, vocational, or trade school
- U.S. students must maintain a 2.0/4.0 (or equivalent) cumulative GPA to be eligible to apply in future years
