Splunk's 2025 HBCU Academic Scholarship
The Splunk HBCU Academic Scholarship supports outstanding students enrolled at accredited HBCUs who are pursuing technology-related degrees. Along with a $10,000 award for academic expenses, recipients receive exclusive mentorship and an opportunity to interview for an internship or early career role at Splunk.

Who is eligible
- Enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited HBCU
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027
- Actively pursuing a technology-related degree
- Current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- 18 years of age or older
What you'll need
- A resume that contains academic details (school, GPA, and major)
- A current official or unofficial transcript showing school/university, student name, and a timestamp
- One PDF document containing responses to both Prompt A (leadership contribution, max 500 words) and Prompt B (passion for field, max 250 words)
How to apply
- Prepare a resume that details your academic info and any relevant work, projects, or extracurriculars.
- Obtain a current transcript (official or unofficial) with a timestamp on or after September 17, 2024.
- Write and combine the two essay prompts into a single PDF document.
- Complete and submit the application online using the official Splunk Yello portal.
