Splunk's annual HBCU Academic Scholarship recognizes exceptional and talented students attending accredited Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) who are pursuing a technology-related degree. Alongside the financial award, recipients receive exclusive Splunk mentorship and an opportunity to interview for an internship or early career role.

Who is eligible
- Enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited HBCU
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027
- Actively pursuing a technology-related degree
- Current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- 18 years of age or older
- Must not be a previous recipient of Splunk's HBCU Academic Scholarship
What you'll need
- A resume containing student academic information (school, GPA, and major)
- A current official or unofficial transcript showing school, student name, and a timestamp on or after September 17, 2024
- Two written essays (Prompt A and Prompt B) compiled into a single PDF document

- Draft responses to Prompt A (leadership contribution, max 500 words) and Prompt B (passion for field, max 250 words).
