Privacy Policy

When you browse the directory without an account, we do not collect personal information about you beyond standard analytics (see below). If you create an account, we collect:

• Your email address (used to sign you in).
• Optional profile details you choose to share — such as your state, county, ZIP code, high school, college, field of study, GPA range, and background — which are used only to recommend relevant scholarships.
• The scholarships you save to your account.

If you contact us as a foundation or submit a scholarship, we collect the organization and contact details you provide so we can review and publish the listing.

• To operate your account and show your saved scholarships.
• To recommend scholarships that match the profile fields you provide.
• To email you transactional messages, such as a welcome email after sign-up.
• To review and publish scholarships submitted by foundations.

• We never sell your personal information.
• We never share your profile with scholarship providers or advertisers.
• We do not send marketing emails you did not ask for.

We use Google Analytics to understand overall site usage — for example, which pages are visited and how visitors find the site. Google Analytics collects standard device and usage information (such as browser type, approximate location, and pages viewed) using cookies. You can block these cookies in your browser settings without affecting your use of the directory.

Scholarship listings link to the provider's official website so you can apply directly. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Always review a provider's terms before submitting an application.

Our Android app displays the same website inside the app. It does not collect any additional device data, contacts, location, or files beyond what is described in this policy.

You can edit or remove profile fields at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account and all associated data (profile, saved scholarships), use the Contact page and we will delete it within 7 days.

Account data is stored with our hosting provider and access is restricted so that only you can read or change your own profile and saved scholarships. We keep your information only while your account is active; when you delete your account, your profile and saved scholarships are deleted with it.

The directory is intended for students who are at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
