Cannon Student Scholarship
The Cannon Student Scholarship sponsors medical students to attend the American Association of Plastic Surgeons (AAPS) Annual Meeting. The program aims to nurture students' interest in plastic surgery by covering meeting registration, meals, and lodging.

- Must be a medical student in their second (M2) or third (M3) year
- Applicants who have submitted an abstract to the meeting and been accepted for presentation are not eligible
What you'll need
- Joint confirmation letter from both the applicant and either the applicant’s home plastic surgery program director or surgery clerkship director
- The confirmation letter must include the date on which a post-meeting presentation is scheduled
- Recipient must give a 10-minute presentation to their plastic surgery cohort following the AAPS Annual Meeting to share their experience

- Obtain the required joint confirmation letter from your home plastic surgery program director or surgery clerkship director (including the scheduled presentation date).
- Apply online starting Monday, September 28, 2026. Note that applications close once 75 slots and 50 waitlist spots are filled.
