- Must live in Portsmouth, the surrounding area (PO postcode), or on the Isle of Wight
- Must be studying toward a full-time, campus-based undergraduate STEM degree under the Faculty of Technology at the University of Portsmouth
- Must be the first in their family to progress to higher education, OR have a household income of £35,000 or below
- Must meet specific course entry criteria and maintain a minimum grade requirement equivalent to a 2:2 result (50% equivalent)
- Not open to international students
