- Be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
- Be enrolled in or accepted to an eligible Cosmetology program at a U.S.-accredited school leading to licensure or the applicable state-recognized equivalent, or a BCL Qualifying Partner School.
- Demonstrate passion for the Cosmetology profession, commitment to education, and financial need.
- Not have previously received a scholarship administered by Beauty Changes Lives, including scholarships funded by L'Oreal Professional or any other BCL partner.
- Not be an employee, contractor, or immediate family member of BCL, L'Oreal Professional, or an affiliated vendor.
What you'll need
- Proof of enrollment (progress report or official acceptance letter)
- YouTube video (3 minutes maximum, public link, cannot be a YouTube Short) answering the following prompts: 1) 'What is your dream job, and what does that look like once you graduate?' 2) 'Why is education essential now and throughout your career to achieve your goals and succeed?' 3) 'Name someone within the beauty industry who inspires and motivates you to continue to learn?' 4) 'How will this scholarship impact your financial needs?'
