Who is eligible
- Must be a citizen of one of the 54 eligible African countries (including Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Cote d'Ivoire, Egypt, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and others)
- Must be a young African agronomist, extension officer, or agricultural researcher
- Must focus on smallholder farmer development and sustainable agriculture
