- Be enrolled or newly accepted into an accredited U.S. cosmetology program leading to licensure.
- Be eighteen (18) years of age or older by the start date of the program.
- Not be an employee, contractor, or immediate family member of BCL (Beauty Changes Lives) or its affiliated vendors (Ulta, Inc. employees not in leadership, authority, or decision-making roles are eligible).
What you'll need
- Proof of acceptance, enrollment, and/or proof of attendance at an accredited school or institution.
- Video (3 minutes maximum, YouTube public link): Answer the following prompts: "Ulta Beauty believes that 'The possibilities are beautiful.' Describe how receiving this scholarship would impact your life and move you forward in your goals.", "What possibilities do you see for your future as a beauty professional?", and "How would this scholarship help ease financial or educational challenges or make a difference in your life?"
How to apply
- Record and upload a public YouTube video of 3 minutes or less answering the required prompts.
- Gather proof of enrollment, acceptance, or attendance.
- Complete and submit the online application via the provider's portal.
